One of the standout projects I had the opportunity to work on was with Oslund Design, a design agency that reached out to me after seeing one of my Craigslist ads. They needed help with a redesign for their client, Treco, and I was brought on as a freelance web designer.

My role was to overhaul the layout of their website using Squarespace. This involved presenting updates to both the creative director and the agency owner in our bi-monthly meetings. The design process was a bit challenging, as I had to ensure the layout was responsive—what looked great on desktop needed to be adjusted for mobile view. This often meant reworking elements to prevent the content from scrambling when viewed on smaller screens.

The project took about five months, with plenty of back-and-forth communication between myself and the creative director. Zoom meetings and phone calls kept everything on track, and it was a rewarding experience to see the website evolve.

What I truly enjoy about projects like this is the opportunity to contribute to a brand’s promotional materials. It’s fulfilling to know that something I’ve had a hand in designing is out there for the public to see.
